Many area community-based, non-profit organizations offer information and assistance to older adults, their families and caregivers:


Adult Protective Services (APS)(513) 421-5433
Operates 421-LIFE (5433), Hamilton County's 24-hour line for reporting elder abuse, neglect (by self or others) and exploitation. APS also provides temporary, part-time homemaker services to help with routine tasks such as shopping and laundry.

Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter(513) 721-4284
Non-profit organization committed to support, education, advocacy and research on behalf of those affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Catholic Social Services of Southwestern Ohio(513) 241-7745
Agency of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati that exists to advance the human dignity and welfare of people in need by providing comprehensive social services that include a caregiver assistance network, foster grandparent program, homemaker/personal care, and supportive and therapeutic assistance for the homebound elderly, their families and family caregivers.
