Ohio may have the world’s largest population of Amish, but the Shipshewana area of Indiana is just as famous but not nearly as crowded this time of year. This multi-night trip has a fun-filled itinerary with some yummy stops sure to please everyone’s tummy, including dinner at an Amish home. But it’s not all about the food, other highlights include a stop at the flea market, a make-and-take craft, plus a poetry reading by Amish author Ruth Miller and much more.

Join us for a slide show sure to inspire you to sign-up for this vacation adventure. You’ll watch 700-plus balloons rise in the air at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Ride on an 1881 narrow-gauge steam train in the charming town of Durango. Visit the five-story pueblo community of Taos Pueblo and overnight in Mesa Verde National Park. In Santa Fe, see the miraculous spiral staircase in the Loretto Chapel and walk the Town Plaza which marks the end of the Santa Fe Trail.

Often called the “American Venice,” San Antonio, Texas, is home to the Alamo, the Mission of San Jose, the Aztec Theater and the Mexican Marketplace. Before departing San Antonio, we will cruise along the Paseo Del Rio (The Riverwalk). Our tour then heads to Grapevine, known for its sophisticated charm, fine dining and many wineries. Once in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we’ll see the Kennedy Memorial, the West End and John Bryant Cabin. But don’t forget, this is a New Year’s Eve get-a-way, and the Gala Dinner Dance is sure to be grand!
